What are the knitted linings?
Knitted interlining can be divided into warp knitted fusible interlining and weft knitted fusible interlining. Warp knitted fusible interlining is mainly used for woolen garments. Weft knitted fusible interlining is mainly used for all wool fabrics and thin fabrics. These two kinds of linings can be directly bonded to the wool fabric. When bonded with the adhesive machine, the temperature is 165 ~ 175 ℃. It is made of viscose fiber and polyester staple fiber by chemical bonding process. It is divided into thick, medium and thin, and the color is mainly white. It is light, soft, firm, shrinkage, good elasticity, because there is no longitude and latitude and easy to use, generally used for shirt collar lining, hanging face lining, pocket lining, etc. In the welt part, the non-woven lining is effective. It can also be used for the hanging face, collar face, bag cover and bag opening part of woolen clothing.
1. The performance of lining material matches the performance of clothing fabric. The performance here mainly refers to the color, unit weight and thickness, drape, etc. For example, flannel fabric should use thick lining material, while silk fabric should use soft silk lining, knitted fabric should use elastic knitted (warp knitted) interlining, etc.
2. Considering the requirements of fashion modeling and fashion design, stiff lining is usually used for collar and waist, while thick lining is used for chest lining of coat.
3. Considering the use of clothing, if some clothes need to be washed, the washable lining material should be selected, and the washing and ironing size stability of the lining should be considered.
